So this weekend I was supposed to go to baby shower #4 but since I am paying off school and on a budget I have to have a "lets do something for free weekend". I have heard about them before but never really done it. Ha just kidding. My uncle rich was the inspiration behind the free weekend. I remember him telling me that "you don't always have to do something that cost money". My response- "Yea right"! Turns out he was right. So let move on shall we?! This weekend while I was cleaning out my purse. I found some gift cards. I checked all the balances and most of them were $0.00 but I did have a movie card that had some left on it so I decided to go see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. I have always been a fan of the books and I have seen all of the movies so why not go see that. The problem was I had no one to go with me. Of course it was a nerdy thing to go see but hey sometimes I can be a nerd if I want to, ya know?! So I decided to go by myself. ( That one was inspired by my auntPeggy). I went over to the movies a little early so I found a lighting shop that was right around the corner to look in while I was waiting for the time to pass. This picture above is just one of the hallways that was in the store. Very cool. (We will review the movie later.)
When I first walked into this place it was overwhelming. There were light fixtures every where. Any kind of fixture you can think of they had it. But at a pretty high price I might add. I went to town on the picture snapping. It was all just amazing.
This one I would think of having at my imaginary beach house (Out side porch or in the bathroom).
This is very my style. I love contemporary looks and silver.
As you go further into the store it get a bit fancier.
They had beautiful chandeliers.
Different colors to go with whatever theme you wanted.
Isn't it beautiful?! I liked to use my camera fora close up like this. Shows good detail.
Outside lights. I kind of like the bronze too.
The next ones were inspired by my sister. She loves color and crazy out of this world things. But when she picks stuff out that are bizarre, she seems to make it work very well.
This was one piece. It was big so I thought it would go good in the Fourier.
This one would be good for my uncle Richard. It can go in his ballroom. You can have green or white.
Here is some more sparkle. This is more dinning area or bedroom bling.
This is an ugly picture but just want to show you guys that they have some fans too.
This rainbow was also inspired by my sister but can also be used in a kids or baby's room. I loved it.
This just freaked me out!
This room was very cool. It was mostly chandeliers with a piano. They had a couch which I thought really seriously about taking a little nap on or going to my car and getting my harry potter book and reading for a bit. I realized it was getting time to go see the movie so I told myself I would come back the next day and read then.
Movies!!!!!
When I got to the movies I had to walk down this scary hallway to get to the inside. I wanted to run for the doors but I just pulled out my pepper spray instead. At the very top there were kids looking over and I was praying that one of them doesn't spit on me at the last minuted. Walking...Walking....Safely inside. 2 1/2 hours later I came out loving the movie. The book/movie was very long and a lot of detail went into the book/movie. I was very curious to see how it was going to work but they did it. The whole theme around Harry Potter is magic and I guess it is very hard to portray with out it looking fake ( Of course we all know it is fake). I guess the studio spent the extra money to have really good special effects and the movie turned out great, I was completely entertained. I give this movie an A-. The minus part was for some part that was left out. Well it was a great "free weekend". The next chapter in my life is starting school again. I hope it is not that difficult to start so you will be hearing more about that in the future. For now I must enjoy the two weeks I have left of freedom. After that it's back to prison. HAHA! Happy weekend!
I loved the comment about the kids spitting... Yuck! You make me laugh.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you didn't need pepper spray, you needed an umbrella!
