The Best Chocolate Sheet Cake EVERRRR!!!

Sometimes I get in the mood to cook or bake in this case. As you know I frequently read other people's blogs and get recipes from them. And every now and then I like to do a tester on the office. This tester was called "The best Chocolate Sheet Cake EVER". I had never tried this before so you could say that I was the guinea pig too.

We begin with the dry ingredients: Flour, Salt and Sugar. Mix it together and move on to the hot stuff...

Melt 2 sticks of butter in a pan.

Put 4 heaping tablespoons of coco powder into the butter

Let boil for 30 seconds

While the coco is boiling I warmed up a cup of water in the microwave for 2 minutes

Pour that water in the coco mix.

Take off the burner and pour into the flour mix and stir till just combine, you just want to cool off the coco mix.

Time for the other wet ingredients. Baking soda....

Vanilla.....

Buttermilk...

And 2 eggs all go into a bowl together. Mix it well...

The mixture should be cool enough now to pour in the egg mix.

Mix until smooth

Get a regular baking sheet and pour on the cake batter...

Bake for 20 minutes at 350....

Closeup!!!!!

Time to make the frosting...

First you need to do in the first part of this recipe....Make the coco mix again on the stove, with the boiling except instead of water you need to add 6 tablespoons of milk.

And stir your little heart out...

It will eventually thicken, then pour on the cake...

And lastly take any kind of nuts you want ( I choose hazelnuts) and sprinkle it on the cake.

Then add a whole pound of powdered sugar to the chocolate mix..

Stir and pour on that stuff...

I took it to work the next day and everyone loved it. I would definitely make it again!!
